Activities of the international exchange student committee

I am Toko Miura, a chairperson for the international exchange student committee of National Institute of Technology, Sendai College, Hirose Campus.

We held a food party every year. There are many exchange students in my school. We invite them to the party and enjoy spending time together. At the party, students cook their own country's dishes and share them. You can try traditional food in Thailand, France, Finland and Japan. You also have chances to find how to cook other country's dishes through helping cooking. I tried cooking authentic Thai green curry last year and found that they use coconut milk for it! It was so surprising. After lunch, we enjoy some games and talking.

Unfortunately, we couldn’t meet exchange students this year. All members of international exchange student committee are looking forward to meeting and be friends with them through the party next year.
