Message from Mr. Patrik Johansson, the exchange student from Finland in autumn 2019

"My exchange period in KOSEN was full of new experiences and helpful people. The support I had both with my studies and with accustoming to my new daily life really made me feel like home. What at the beginning felt like a long period ended up feeling like an instant, and even now I feel like there are so many things left to see in Sendai I didn't have the time for. You have to experience winter onsen at least once!

I left back to Finland with a wider perspective for my field of study, treasured memories and a new outlook on my day-to-day life.

Due the current global situation, the institute I'm studying in is currently doing all the teaching remotely. Right now, I'm working in IT, through one of the hottest early summers in finnish history. It's difficult to stay inside."
